O.K., here's the deal: I went skeptically tonight because the last two reviews said it wasn't authentic and they didn't smoke their meats. But my work associate forced us into going. Holy cow, indeed (as one of the reviewers said). I cannot find one thing wrong with the place. Actually, that's not true. The wait is long. Now, for those who said they don't smoke their meat, you are mistaken. I told the owner (Rick, I believe) that the rumor was out that the meat was not smoked. He then gave me a tour of the kitchen, and yes, they have 4 smokers and use a combination of hickory and apple woods. I thought it was a nice touch that he did that. Then we ate. The ribs were stellar. The sides (we split 5) were all excellent. The cornbread was great. And they have PBR. This place needs beds so I can move in. If you're a review junkie, take my advise and go. Oh, and for the record, I am from , Abbeville, Alabama. Born and raised. So I know a thing or two (or three) about barbecue. Good show, fellas. - Rob from Bama.
Pros: Everything
Cons: They won't let me move in
