My Parents always had at least two dogs in our house at all times when I was growing up so I am no stranger to various vet clinics. I've been to great Vets and really bad ones too. After I moved out and was finally able to get a dog of my own I took him to Salty paws. What attracted me initially was the outside of the building. I was new to Va and didn't have anyone who could recommend a good clinic I could take my new puppy to. Anyways...I have been going to Salty paws now for almost four years and have no real issues with the staff. They have always been very sweet and attentive to my dog. He trusts them and has never had a bad experience going there. I've never had to fight to get him through the door and he is always happy with the staff and they are always happy to see him, and even though we only go for his annual check-up they still remember him which I think is amazing. My only complaint, and the only reason I gave the place four stars, is because I do think the prices are rather high and some of the vaccinations (like kennel cough) I don't necessarily feel that he needs. Other then that I have no real complaints and think that Salty Paws is an excellent place to take my dog.
Pros: Staff very friendly and good to my pet
Cons: higher priced then other clinics.
