I have been dining in the Warehouse District, the FQ and Uptown at some of the best restaurants in the world. Tommy's has been one of my favorites with a romantic atmosphere and dependable food. On Sunday I had a guest in town and was excited to take this individual to several of my favorite locations which included Clancy's, Upperline and some others. All were great as advertised. Unfortunately, we went to Tommy's on a Sunday night where our waiter refused to let us order appetizers without ordering the rest of the meal based on the ""house rule"" saying ""chef would be extremely upset"". I have eaten at Tommy's 50-60 times in the last year and this was a surprise. What was less of a surprise was that my friend and I walked out and won't be returning... Emeril's was good as usual though so not a total loss...
Pros: Food, atmosphere and a few good waiters (Ken)
Cons: One or two waiters who ruin it
