With the demise of so many downtown restaurants, you'd think that Grumpy's restaurant on Huron St. would bend over backward to retain customers. I love the food. I love the interior. HOWEVER, this is my LAST time visiting Grumpy's until the owner gets a med refill. This I promise. Once an ""in"" place to enjoy lunch, Grumpy's Restaurant can no longer rest on its laurels. Not even a drink refill after 45 minutes of waiting. But we did get the bill ($21 for ONE BURGER AND A SALAD)....BEFORE WE GOT OUR FOOD!! Our food arrived ONLY after we reminded the waitress. My friend's burger was so raw it looked like the cow was possibly still alive. The owner was incredibly rude and arrogant after a request was politely made of him. He seemed to forget who helps pay his bills. I work with over 600 other employees. I will urge them to forgo this restaurant until it, too, fades out with so many other downtown Toledo establishments. It's sad.
