The sad thing about this site is that the negative reviews about Patti Eisenhauer are always erased. I will start off by saying that if your child does not want a career in dance then this studio would be perfectly fine for he or she to attend, but if dance is something they want to pursue then Patti's is not for them. A few years ago there was an incident where almost 20 girls left the studio at the same time because of problems with teachers (my daughter not being one of them to leave) Almost all of the dancers who left went to other studios. My daughter use to be at the same level as those who left but when she stayed and graduated at Patti's, though she tried she went nowhere with dance and those who left are fulfilling their dreams. The reason I am writing this is because my daughter recently heard that a student who left Patti's just got signed to a professional contemporary company and is booked her first festival show with the most indemand choreographers. It was always my daughters dream to dance and it just broke my heart to have her dreams die. Patti's does not focus on the real world of dance but they are good at making it seem like after years of training with them you will be a sucessful dancer. My daughter had fun at Patti's but it seemed more like a daycare then a dance studio. The choreography is good, but always a few steps behind the times. The teachers are friendly but hard to trust. The new studio is lovely but a little small with minimal parking. The students are very friendly and some talented, but in this dance world it takes more then just a little talent.
Pros: Good for young students looking to learn how to dance and just have fun
Cons: The training the team students recieve
