At issue with this management company is the value for the service received. A number of months ago I sent a 2 1/2 page letter outlining my concerns with their lack of service and never received a response. It will be 3 years this August that I have lived in my townhouse and all that has been done is grass cutting and snow removal. I live on the second floor and have a wood treated deck that has never been treated and an asphalt driveway that has yet to see any treatment. The deck was a concern of the independent building inspector I used prior to my purchase, that it posed a safety risk. Hillcrest shows no interest in addressing anything of concern that a home owner may have but they sure were quick to increase the monthly association fee. For each 4 unit townhome that is in the Villages of Woodridge, Hillcrest collects over $6,000 per year and what we get in return is the grass cut once a week and snow removal a couple times throughout the snow season. Apparently the money just goes to salaries for people that just sit around on their butts not answering the phones or responding to messages that are left. I wish I could get a "gig" like that...just collect money and not be accountable to my customers! PATHETIC!
