Not being able to contact my 4-yr-old child's pediatrician yesterday, I brought him to American Family Care Clinic in Gardendale. I filled out his paperwork and we waited for 45 minutes or so (with hardly anyone there). After they took him back they determined he had 100 degree fever. He was complaining of a sore throat, so the doctor came in to look at his throat. He had a little trouble getting my son to open his mouth wide enough (he wasn't being wild and unruly, just nervous about having something stuck in his mouth), and after spending only literally only about 2 minutes with him he told me he didn't have time to spend on an uncooperative child with all of the patients they had in there and then he told me I would have to try to get an appointment with his pediatrician or with Children's Hospital. I told him I had been there for about an hour, but he was very abrupt and just told me he would have the office manager come and talk to me and then he walked out. While I was waiting,
