The place was packed the night my mom and I went in, and that seemed like a good sign. However, it was unbelievably loud. She and I were shouting across the table at each other the whole time. When we sat down, the table was sticky and kinda gross. The waitstaff seemed friendly, but almost everything we ordered arrived either wrong or not tasty at all. The ettoufe (sp?) was really disappointing... it didn't even look like etouffe. And it tasted a week old. Anyway, the dessert (Lost Fruit... can't remember the French translation) was the highlight of the night, but honestly, I could have made it myself and had it turn out just as good. I really loved the turn-of-the-century building itself, but I think a lot more could have been made from this place. All the seafood tasted really fishy and unfresh. I won't be going back.
