With every restaurant and bar serving an Ahi appetizer, it's hard to find a place that stands out for their value and quality of ingredients. Geoffrey's Ahi came thickly encrusted with toasted sesame seeds. The cut of tuna was of steak quality, not fillet, and was as fresh as it gets. It was served seared on the outside and ever so rare on the inside over a bed of baby greens and accompanied with the ever important generous mound of wasabi. A delectable oil (possibly walnut?), a slight tinge of soy, and a rich reduction of balsamic, drizzled over the top, were the crowning touches. I've tried this four times now on various nights of the week with each serving as excellent as the first.
Cons: It is cold by the doors in the winter.
