I had a completely different experience than these people. The salon has been remodeled (it's under new ownership) and there is no smoky smell at all. The receptionist was very professional and asked me if I'd like a drink two different times during my appointment. My stylist (Candice) was also very professional, recommending a color (I'm indecisive and ask for advice) and cutting my hair just like a picture I had taken with me. I'm very happy with both the cut and color. The chairs for hair washing are extremeley comfortable, and they wrap a hot towel over your hair during the process that feels incredible. Overall, a near perfect experience. I have recommended DV8 to friends, and they love it as well.
