Dv8 The Salon

I had been going to Sydney for about 4 months and getting a so, so hair cut and style and then one day she messed up my highlights and made them really blotchy. when i asked her to fix it, and she had the manager call me and tell me that i would have to find another salon because they didnt fix clients hair, and there was nothing wrong the first time. Stopped in for a meeting with the owners and ended up getting a haircut with Sydney - she is a new stylist at the salon, I was very pleased with my haircut and definetly would recommend her to friends who live in the area. Pros: Great Salon in Grapevine! more

There were no free haircut coupons back in December of 07. . Those went out in spring of 08. . Nice try though!!! The salon is beautiful my stylist always smells great and from what I understand not only my stylist but all the stylist enjoy cutting and styling curly hair!! !! WORD TO YA MOTHA!!!! I have been seeing one of the stylist working at this salon for nearly 13 years. The new owners have completely redone and revamped the place. This salon is now competitive with some of the other fancy salons in Dallas. I get a great wash, cut, and customer service everytimeI go. I enjoy the atmospher, which is always welcooming, even when I bring my children with me. The new boutique ajoining the salon carries those items that you used to have to drive to purchase or order online. \r I went to the salon before the revamp and never experienced anything bad. My stylist does not smoke and I never smelled smoke in that place. But, each person has their own experience. \r I highly recomend giving the place a try...espcially Bethany. She is contemporary and up to date! Not to mention a very friendly non-smoker. And I drive over 35 miles each way to go! Pros: Great cuts, highlights and people! Cons: None! more

I think ChaCha should go back to California. Sounds to me when you review all three of her reviews it is obvious hse already had preconceived ideas about Texas long before she moved here. I say go home Cha Cha. more

I had a completely different experience than these people. The salon has been remodeled (it's under new ownership) and there is no smoky smell at all. The receptionist was very professional and asked me if I'd like a drink two different times during my appointment. My stylist (Candice) was also very professional, recommending a color (I'm indecisive and ask for advice) and cutting my hair just like a picture I had taken with me. I'm very happy with both the cut and color. The chairs for hair washing are extremeley comfortable, and they wrap a hot towel over your hair during the process that feels incredible. Overall, a near perfect experience. I have recommended DV8 to friends, and they love it as well. Pros: Very professional Cons: $$ (but you get what you pay for) more

I would highly recomend coming here! The hair stylist are awesome and I always leave looking great! The salon is under new ownership and it opens up to the iron rose which is a a really cute clothing boutique. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming--you could be crazy not to book an appiontment!! more

I received a free cut and color coupon for DV8. I went there and the lady who cut my hair was obviously very irritated that I had long, curly hair. She even made the comment that she'd hate to be the one who regularly cut my hair. The color was awful...uneven and I was so disappointed. I asked her to fix it and she made it worse. The environment was cold, uninviting, and smelled like smoke. I would NEVER reccomend it to anyone. more

I was looking for a stylish salon, i got the least of that. The people were trashy smokers. I would dread any time my hair stylist moved because i could smell the stinch of her lingering cigarettes, disgusting, horrible hair cut!! Cons: nasty smell more
