I had very high expectations for this restaurant because it is touted as the best authenticTex-Mex in San Antonio. I ordered the chicken breast with poblano cream sauce. The sauce was good, but the chicken breast was one of those horrible spongey things that are pumped full of salt and chemicals. The chocolate flan was equally disappointing because it was not an authentic flan. It seemed like a mousse in the shape of flan. It tasted good, but can't we have some consistency in food names so we can have a reasonable expectation of what we are getting? The roasted pepper salsa was flavorful and not too hot. Our waiter took my complaint about the chicken to the manager who deleted it from my bill. We took the advice of other reviewers and dined during off-hours so we wouldn't have to contend with a huge crowd. That worked for us.
Pros: Ambiance, salsa
Cons: poor quality chicken breasts, inaccurate naming of food items
