We stopped in at Louie's in Oak Lawn by coincidence. It was the BEST dining experience we've had in quite some time. We went on a Friday night, and while they where busy, the ""crowd"" didn't affect the service. The food was EXQUISITE! The entire staff was marvelous, quite knowledgeable about the food and our server fantastic. We've always been ""Petey's"" fans, and while we'll still eat there, they can't compare to Louie's. The prices were on par with the quality of the food and service. You're not going to want to bring your Little League team there for after game celebrations, but for a date, even if it's not a special occasion, Louie's is the place to go.
Pros: The food, service, drinks and subtle piano background. Everything!
Cons: To go there every night would ruin the magic.
