I took my neighbor's dog to the vet clinic after being hit by two cars. The owner was at college and ok me to take her there. I arrived and was told that they could not see the injured dog unless I assumed financial responsibility. I called the neighbor and informed her the situation of treating her dog. I asked her if she wanted me to assume financial responsibility. She said yes. I told the vet technician that I would take responsibility of the bill until my neighbor arrived. Another lady started the paperwork.
