For dinner last night, Le Rondez-vous got nixed in favor of a brand new restaurant that opened up at the Westin Inn (walking distance from our house) as part of a recent renovation. Copeland. No question in the top 3 NJ dining experiences we?ve had .?\r
Decor had a modern/minimalist feel with some Japanese influences? very nice. Background music was an upbeat eclectic mix, although kind of clubby at times. Service was good but certainly not their strong point. The food was outstanding. New American cuisine with surf and turf specialties. 5 course tasting menu for $59 pp. Nice variety of affordable wines. \r
The bar is interesting too? small with a swanky feel. That?s right? I said swanky.\r
For what it?s worth, here?s what I think?.\r
