Honestly...I was excited to eat here and reserved it for a birthday dinner with family from out of town. The outside (I-10 location) looked intriguing--imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw that it was pretty boring. I was famished and my dinner (enchilada and taco, rice, beans) was fine--nothing great, nothing terrible. I left feeling let down and decided that, while it wasn't a total loss/waste of time, I won't be making a return trip. FYI: I may be gringa but I appreciate authentic Mexican food and this was very Velveeta/Pace tasting. Guess I shouldn't have expected Oaxacan queso and homemade spicy salsa from a place called Alamo Cafe.
Pros: Plenty of parking, fast service
Cons: Blah--nothing special
