The first thing you'll notice is the reproduction of the Alamo complete with a running river through the restaurant. In the lobby, they're always making fresh flour tortillas which are brought to every table. The fresh salsa and chips waiting for you on your table are quite good and plentiful. If you fill up on freebies, you might not get to the best part of the meal.
I like most everything on the menu, but I'd suggest the brisket quesadillas to first time visitors looking for something different. Other highlights are the beef fajita tacos and any of the chicken enchilada plates in green chile, red sauce or sour cream sauce.
