I'm actually pretty surprised to read some of the negative comments in this section. This is a great spot for all of the reasons you go to a coffee shop: free internet, great coffee, yummy pastries, great people watching, and a place to sit and read, write or meet with a friend. I know people who move away from the area and long for a place like this. It's really a sweet spot to hang out. It's true...very industry...but it's not pretentious. I think it's pretty ironic when people live, oh, 3 blocks from 5 major studios and complain that it feels too ""industry"". If you don't like the vibe, then move to Northridge or Simi Valley...there's plenty of vanilla strip mall suburbia waiting for you.
