Swanky interior, surprisingly unpretentious staff, and elegant but not overly-haute food made my evening at Seasonal one of the better dining experiences I've had in the city in a longtime. It's a particularly refreshing place for the neighborhood. It brings a little downtown vibe to midtown. The restaurant is on the small side, but I actually like that as it makes the place feel more intimate. Pricing was spot on. Not a steal, but definitely well worth the quality making the meal overall feel like a great deal. I tasted my wife's veal which was very good, but I particularly loved my grouper entree. One last thing: I asked the maitre d about the ceiling. Apparently it's a special soundproofing. And I think it really works because considering how crowded the place was I was amazed how easy it was for me to hear across my own table. Places where I'm unable to do that are big pet peeve of mine. Check this place out!
Pros: Small and intimate, food, decor, and service
Cons: Small and intimate (if that's not your thing), maybe a litte too meat-centric for the Vegetarians out there
