Definitely keep a copy of your estimate and compare it to your actual bill. My estimate for the "emergency visit" charge was $50 then they charged me $60! Maybe they didn't think I would remember because they showed me the estimate but didn't give me a copy. I will ask for a copy next time.\r
Also! At a completely different visit, they shorted me pills on my dogs perscription. Maybe it was an accident or maybe they think people don't count their pills. I was shorted 3 pills. I feel like thats hard to mistake. I called and the doctor said they'd reimburse me for the prorated amount. \r
Also! TRY TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! You are charged more when you go in without an appointment. Usually you can call and make a next day appointment. So if it can wait, call and save. \r
