Computer Drive Sadly Lost It's Drive! 12/29/2008

CAUTION with Computer Drive. My first two experiences with CD, over the last 2+ years, were outstanding. One tech in particular, Naveed (sp?), not only provided superior customer service, but addressed all of my concerns,\r dropped my computer off, and patiently/courteously answered questions about the work that had been done. With this kind of service I returned twice more for work and heartily recommended them to friends and colleagues. \r \r Mid December, 2008, my Windows XP was horribly corrupt & needed a reinstall. Naveed said he'd be back to me ASAP. Mycall back was from an ""Ameen"" I'd never spoken with before. \r \r Ameen explained some differences in policy between their Skokie, Il. location and North shore customers (I'm in Highland Park,IL.). I said I was curious why. \r Hesitatingly Ameen explained North shore customers tend to try to and ""rip them off"". I remarked that demanding I could understand. \r Ameen was very apologetic and explained he did not mean to offend me, rather was simply being candid. \r \r Attitudes have become indifferent at Computer Drive. Customer service, which once was fantastic, have DEGRADED TO NON-EXISTANT I'm sad to say. \r \r Afterwards I found GAMES I never installed on my PC, and running Corporate Norton and Webroot spyware, a host of malware, trojans and virii were found. What was my puter used for??\r \r Perhaps there has been reorganization at Computer Drive. Techs come and go quickly. I can no longer recommend you call these people for your PC needs, worse I can recommend you PASS ON COMPUTER DRIVE to avoid the grief any business seemingly floundering without a head can provide a customer with. \r Ron Kolman - Highland Park, IL. Pros: Once were Excellent Cons: Bad service and attitude these days more
