to the person feeling scorned by not being seated and thinking it's a racial issue. First of all to pull the race card you should have a damn good reason in this day and age. As a person in the business, the owner did absoulely right by giving away your table to a party that was complete. Unfortunately for you, you were on time. the rest of your party wasn't. Every seat filled in a restaurant generates revenue, had your party been available for the table they probably would have been sat. You need to blame your guests, not the owner. My suggestion is if you know you have irresponsible guest, tell them the reservation is a half hour earlier. As for you being a loyal customer, sorry, you would have told the owner you were sorry for your guests being late and understand him having to accomodate paying customers. Shame on you for pulling the race card on this issue. It's just a matter of a man running a business correctly and you not having any respect for someones welfare, even so much that you would try to damage his business by this ridiculous insult. Buy your own restaurant and hold tables for your friends, hopefully people will want to fill them, then realize your bills and see if you still have the same feelings.
Pros: fun
