I also have Satellite America service included in my rent, and it's so unspeakably frustrating! Half of our local channels come in fuzzy, and they posted a letter in our building saying these channels would be duplicated, but they never came through. In fact, now they've taken away VH1 and replaced it with a 24/7 Direct TV ad. Almost makes me want to pay for cable, as long as it's done right.
Pros: Free, includes several HBO channels
Cons: You never know what channels are actually functioning, can't find accurate listings online
