this company rips its customers off, the people who work there are rude, and quality of the cable an internet are poor more

I also have Satellite America service included in my rent, and it's so unspeakably frustrating! Half of our local channels come in fuzzy, and they posted a letter in our building saying these channels would be duplicated, but they never came through. In fact, now they've taken away VH1 and replaced it with a 24/7 Direct TV ad. Almost makes me want to pay for cable, as long as it's done right. Pros: Free, includes several HBO channels Cons: You never know what channels are actually functioning, can't find accurate listings online more

Satellite America is provided by my landlord (included in rent), so I'm basically trapped. But I wouldn't wish this provider on anyone. I should be receiving 64 channels, but three of them (all local channels) are staticky ... the NBC station (WMAQ) is completely black, no signal at all! ... 12 other stations are also black ... and nine of the channels are wrong (ex. Comcast SportsNet is actually where the Food Network should be), and this makes it very difficult to plan to record anything with TiVo. The few times I've tried to contact them and have actually reached a human, they make me feel as though I'm the idiot and that something must be wrong with my equipment. Seriously, run quickly, far far away, if you are ever approached with this embarrassing excuse for a cable provider. I've lived in several cities and used several good providers, and SA should be ashamed of themselves.
