At this time I would not recommend this facility to anyone in need. We had my mom in there for approx 2 days and it was a nightmare. The first thing was the sheets were being taken off the bed and there was dead scales of skin on the matress and when house keeping ws called and they looked it was like what is that? I state dead scales on skin and look as I shaked out the sheets there was more coming off there. \r
Next incident was : mom had several accidents in the bathroom and the CNA who does most of dirty work wipe the floor and flushed the toilet but they left stuff on the seat. Then after complaining several times they brought house keeping in their to clean up. The lady was very imbarrased that she was not called sooner and then saniftized the whole area to include under the bed and the whole bathroom. The next day after mom was complaining still about the food and not enough responding to call bells faster she was being transferred to a new facility but they were not informed yet at the next incident. But this last one was really gross:They forgot her junch at 1:00 pm and approx 2:30 pm they finally brought her a sandwich from the kitchen. The date is written on in black magic marker too. It was now the 30 and it was dated on the wrapper as the 20th Nov. Mom thought it was balogna and when I opened it ...it was actually cured ham with mold and smelled bad, moss growing on it. Also the first nite she was there which was only 2 nites we were leaving and accidentally my friend pushed the black button on the door handle and it set an alarm off. After we shut the door the alarm was telling the staff that someone got out the door that should not be outside. The doors locked down and if that had been a patient they would have been locked outside for approx 45/ the reason we know is because we waited at the door to tell them we did it. The remark from employee was that door does that all the time it was no big thing it is like a short or something. Happens
