House Hens owns another business called Baz Resale in which they sell woman and childrens clothes, toys etc., but they also have a photo album which if you ask for dishes or other household items, they will show you this photo album. They also advertise at the college asking for jewerly. They say the stuff is kept at their warehouse. I do not trust these people and would not let them in my home. For items on consignment, they will tell you that it didn't sell, however, its no longer there. You do not get paid unless they mark it sold even if it is missing. You will be told to come back another time. Which when you will come back, they will tell you its not Thurs. which is the only day that Mom comes in to pay people, so they won't even discuss your missing item. They make you feel like the bad guy for asking to get paid on you items. When your items are missing, they tell you they have another business they are trying to run and they have kids so some things fall through the cracks, can't you be understanding. They also tell you they are a struggling new business and you will have to wait to be paid or take a store credit. Another trick is even though it is marked in the books for one price, they will tell you a customer negotiated the price down and they just forgot to change it in the books. I know several people that have had similar problems. They even called the police on a customer when she kept showing up to get her stuff that they would not return to her. They couldn't find her stuff and were tired of hearing about it and wanted her to understand that it was lost and forget about it. They offered her a couple dollars for her stuff and when she refused there offer and wanted replacement value they called called the police. There was even a fight at there store. These are the same women that run this store as house hens.
