Dr Lombardi is a nice fellow but is in the substance abuse treatment buisiness and is very skeptical about pain management . I truly don't have a problem with the Dr but trying to communicate with the office staff is next to impossible. The industry is about high volume less attention and the office calls are never answered by a human and when you do need to leave a voice mail you will need to leave them your entire patient profile to get a prescription refill or a call back. They have a file there with all your information but they just don't want to do any work or they are understaffed ?? The last time I spoke to anyone there I was trying to reschedule for a missed appt that I didn't get a reminder call about and I was trying to get a prescription filled. They told me that my insurance was no longer accepted and I said that I would just pay out of pocket and asked how much that would be and she said that I needed to call my insurance company and find that out and basically hung up on me without getting my meds filled and without having an appointment scheduled. I am epileptic and had a seizure do to being off of my meds for the two days it took me to get in to see my primary care physician. Dr Getter, The greatest Dr I have ever had. I wouldn't recommend University Psychichiatric for treament of a dog much less a human !!! BEWARE... PROBLEMS
Pros: nice building
Cons: The Office staff is inept and uncapable of anything.
