I've been a Chicagoan all my life and there is no better greasy beef joint in the state, period. Other reviews calling Novi's beef ""ordinary"" or ""premade"" are clearly written by morons. If you had ever eaten there, you could see the massive slicing machines in the back which are always running. The beef is so spicy and tender. Sometimes you'll get a chunk of meat which is unfortunate, but worth the trip every time.
Pros: Best Beef Sandwich ever; very affordable
Cons: Kind of dingy.
