I recently had the pleasure of having a deep tissue massage at the re:fresh day spa in lakeshore towers. The massage was amazing! I had been injured a few years ago in a car accident and tend to hold a lot of tension in my back, which causes terrible headaches. I had a friend who works out at the lakeshore towers 24 hour fitness that recommended that I try out re:fresh. I had been going to a spa in Mission Viejo and was paying quite a bit of money for massages that I was not completely satisfied with. Anyway, I tried out re:fresh and had a wonderful massage. Tami, the therapist really listened to me and addressed all of my problem areas in my back and neck. She was able to really work out knots that had been bothering me for months (which no one else has been able to do). I have gone back 2 times since my first visit. The last massage I got was a swedish. Since Tami had been able to work out so much of that tension, I was able to enjoy the swedish style massage instead of the deep tissue. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep. I also had a facial done at re:fresh...my first! Parvin?, the esthetician, was so sweet. She had a very gentle touch, and I got the appointment through Goldstar so it was really affordable. I am definitely going to have another one (I wouldn't even mind paying full price if Goldstar doesn't have any specials).
I highly recommend this spa! I found the receptionist /manager to be very professional and courteous and was very impressed with the high quality staff. My treatments have all been fantastic and I am looking forward to my next massage!
