I've been a patient for the last year at Talega Dental. From the moment I walked in I felt right at home. The setting in the office is that of a home away from home. You are warmly welcomed by his caring staff immediately. I didn't feel lost like in other offices I had been to where you are just another chart number. The doctors are all patient and are very informative. I've been terrified of the dentist since I was six, so I have never been to happy ever at any office. I was obviously nervous once the exam started but Dr. Amir was very nice and patient and went over all my recommended treatment with me. Then his treatment counselor came in to the room to go over my insurance fees etc. She was a little pushy and took to long in my book to explain everything that the doctor had already explained to me. I have horrible insurance and wasn't surprised at the amount my treatment was going to cost me. Belive me I've been to the office right next door and they wanted $1200 for a crown!! I agreed to all my treatment and was glad to have it done and over with, Dr Shapiro was great during my procedure and very patient with me. The office is very clean the front desk girls are all very helpful and nice. Give them a chance and see what you think.
Pros: Caring staff and doctors, clean office, fair prices.
Cons: Pushy treatment counselor with freakish nails, and no more cookies!
