I actually followed Kara to Electra from another salon; BIG improvement. The atmosphere at Electra is fun and friendly, yet completely professional without being pretentious. The environment there is always welcoming and relaxing and as soon as you walk in the door you automatically feel like you're among friends. I've been going to Kara for over a year now, and as long as she stays in Austin, I will NEVER have to look for another stylist! (After you find perfection, there's no reason to look anywhere else). Kara is probably the only stylist I've ever had who actually gets more excited about my hair than I do!! She is a gifted artist and technician who never fails to perform her magic on my hair; I always walk out of the salon looking and feeling like a million bucks. In fact, I've already booked with her for 2009! Kara is aptly named - she really 'Kares' about her clients! If you're looking for a sassy and classy haircut, and color that's out of this world, then Electra is where you go, and Kara is who you see!
