I love this school! This is my daughter's second year, and it's even better than the first. She has learned so much - at 3 years old she is writing quite well - and I give all the credit to the two amazing teachers. They have endless patience and show the children so much kindness. They develop excellent lesson plans and make learning so much fun. The space the school occupies, while small, is chock full of engaging toys, books, and activity areas, but at the same time, all well-organized. This school is a co-op, so parental involvement is required - if you do not want to be a part of running a school effectively, then do not apply to the Downing Street Playgroup. However, if you do want to be involved in your child's early education, and want to spend time in their class, then this is the school for you. You will not regret it!
Pros: Excellent Teachers; proximity to a cute, enclosed playground
Cons: limited hours, but then again, this is not a daycare!
