My boyfriend and I recently ate at Red Robin for the second time, and like the first, it was disappointing. The first time we went right after the grand opening and the place was very busy. We had horrible service and the food was mediocre, but we blamed the opening for the problems. We decided to give Red Robin another try the other day and went after the lunch rush. The restaurant was pretty empty and we still got horrible service. Our server forgot couldn't name the beers on tap and then tried to up-sell liquor drinks. Then we ordered and once the server realized we weren't having any appetizers or special drinks, he wrote us off. Our food was delivered by another server, even though our server was just standing in the corner doing nothing. Then later he walked by to ask how the food was, but only did so in passing and didn't even wait to hear our response. As for the food, the burgers were ok, nothing special. Our server never once came by to offer us more endless fries, although we didn't need them, but still, what if we had wanted more? Then halfway through our meal he came by and tried to hurry us along, while pushing desserts on us! When we were finished we waited around for him to clear our table, but he never came. He also never checked to see if we wanted desserts or if we needed anything else. I had half a burger that I wanted to take home, but since our server never came by to even get the check, I wrapped up my burger in a napkin and we left cash and a tip.Apparently our server was too busy to wait on us, even though that is his job. I do not recommend this place; they offer mediocre burgers, horrible service, and high prices. Next time, I rather go to Burger King, and that's just sad.
Pros: Lots of parking space since nobody wants to go there
Cons: Horrible service, high prices for cheap food, service without knowledge
