Red Robin Gourmet Burgers

The burger are good, not great. They only difference with Red Robin and a fast food burger is you can get a Red Robin burger with several different toppings. The unlimited fries are just delicious. Beware, it is very expensive for a Burger! more

On Mother's day my mother wanted to try red robin for her mother's day dinner. Myself, my wife, my father, and my mother order from the menu a saut?ed shroom burger, a bleu ribbon burger, a crispy fish burger, and an apple harvest salad along with one chocolate shake and one banana malt. more

My boyfriend and I recently ate at Red Robin for the second time, and like the first, it was disappointing. The first time we went right after the grand opening and the place was very busy. We had horrible service and the food was mediocre, but we blamed the opening for the problems. We decided to give Red Robin another try the other day and went after the lunch rush. The restaurant was pretty empty and we still got horrible service. Our server forgot couldn't name the beers on tap and then tried to up-sell liquor drinks. Then we ordered and once the server realized we weren't having any appetizers or special drinks, he wrote us off. Our food was delivered by another server, even though our server was just standing in the corner doing nothing.Then later he walked by to ask how the food was, but only did so in passing and didn't even wait to hear our response. As for the food, the burgers were ok, nothing special. Our server never once came by to offer us more endless fries, although we didn't need them, but still, what if we had wanted more? Then halfway through our meal he came by and tried to hurry us along, while pushing desserts on us! When we were finished we waited around for him to clear our table, but he never came. He also never checked to see if we wanted desserts or if we needed anything else. I had half a burger that I wanted to take home, but since our server never came by to even get the check, I wrapped up my burger in a napkin and we left cash and a tip.Apparently our server was too busy to wait on us, even though that is his job. I do not recommend this place; they offer mediocre burgers, horrible service, and high prices. Next time, I rather go to Burger King, and that's just sad. The first time I went to a red robin was in Maryland. It was great! I loved the food, and wish we had one in Tennessee! then we finally got one, and then first time of course I loved it! I started going a few more times, the service got worse, the prices started to seem way to high, and the food started making me sick. No kidding, I went for my birthday the bill was the same price as the most fancy restaurant in town, and the next day i felt miserable. I knew it was from the burger I ate, would you like to know why? Because I told myself I'd give it one more shot. So i did, got the same burger, and felt sick again for a couple days. I don't even know why I ordered it, it didn't even taste good anymore because I started getting sick as I was eating it. Not to mention, I have never had good service there, but once, and that was the last time I will ever go there. This chain needs to rethink its priorities, Especaily when you have more new and better burger places like Five Guys that just came into town. Do you want a burger you can sink your teeth into? This was the best burger I have had in years! I had the Bacon and Guacamoli burger. Service was prompt and wait time was a minimal 10 minutes or less. The atmosphere was loud and chaotic inside (very kid friendly) but I sat outside at a table and that was perfect for adults. We went in as soon as they opened after anticipating the opening for several weeks. We ordered cheeseburgers and steak fries which are bottomless but we didn't need any extra. My burger was cooked perfectly and the fries are to die for! I especially love the Red Robin seasoning they have on the table. We got the mountain high mud pie and it was delectable. It's ice cream pie that's big enough for 3 or 4 people to share easily! We always leave saying ""next time we'll have to try..."" We just look forward to our next visit.
