Don't even know where to start but to state that this is a world class facility! Took a horse there a few months ago around 11pm. We live in Ramona and had a bad colic case. After the vet was out at our ranch he said he couldn't do any more and that we would need to take our 19 year old QH to Helen Woodward! Of course those are the worst words any horse owner can hear! We loaded him up and made the almost 1.5 hour trip down the hill (we had to go slow because the QH was still sedated from his tubing). We arrived and a stall was all prepared for him and the vet techs were waiting. Soon after Dr Vasquez arrived and things started rolling at that point. During all the procedures the Dr and the techs were super compassionate and taking their time to explain each step that was being taken. After multiple tests it was decided that surgery wasn't needed. Our horse spent the next few days there getting Iv's and being monitored. What great care!
