We bought a townhouse built by Fafard in Milford less than two years ago. The place is absolutely gorgeous. Open layouts, large bedrooms, large sun filled windows. Unfortunately, after living there for six months we started noticing things. Numerous cracks were found running vertically on the walls of our living room (floor to ceiling). There were large gaps between the baseboard and drywall in certain areas. The paint was peeling all over the place and creating bubbles on the wall. The plaster ceiling by the skylight at the stair landing by the master bedroom broke off in pieces and looks horrible right now. There's drafts at the windows, probably wasn't seal tight. All these things happen right after our one year warranty ended and when we called them, they gave us the ""your warranty ended and it's no longer our responsibility."" Just yesterday the sprinkler head leaked and now the wall inside our bedroom has water damage. This place is just falling apart. I work in construction and seriously this is not what I call quality building. I will never recommend anyone buying a Fafard property. It was the biggest mistake we made and now we can't sell it with all these problems until we fix everything first. Considering the place is less than two years old, this is pathetic.
Pros: Open layouts, large windows
Cons: Bad quality construction
