I went to this place for the first time last Saturday. I had noticed that it was always packed on weekends and figured it was worth a try. I was right, the food was great! I had the chocolate chip pancakes w/ walnuts which were amazing. The coffee was great as well. Very rich and full bodied. It made me want to try their espresso drinks next time.\r
The restaurant is very bright and clean. It is great improvement from how the cafe used to be. It still has that small town cafe feel. The tables are rather tight, but that is the way it has always been so I can't complain that much. The service was decent. They kept my coffee full and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time.\r
I will definitely be making a return trip to the Uptown Cafe to sample more of the food, or maybe I'll just get the chocolate chip pancakes again :). Either way I am glad to see this great cafe added to Downtown Noblesville!
