I'm a bit of a food snob and was in town for a conference from New York City...was going to go to Ago, but it wasn't as close to my hotel as Amarone and it seemed a bit too obvious of a choice...anyway, ended up walking over to Amarone. This place is perfection. I can't say enough. I was a single female dining solo and was completely comfortable and content the entire meal- actually that doesn't do Amarone justice....the truth is, they charmed my socks off the moment I walked in, and I've never left a restaurant more satisfied. Seriously, I have no complaints- and I'm from New York! I had the tuna tartar for an appetizer with a glass of pinot grigio- delicious. Then had the tagliatelle with ragu for my entree with pinot noir- again, perfect. For dessert had the panna cotta and a coffee...I could have died there. This place is a treasure, they truly give you the ""star treatment"".... I only wish I could take Amarone back to the east coast with me.
Pros: service leaves nothing to be desired- food is as wonderful as the rest of the experience
Cons: truly- I have none. maybe, if I had to find one, that they didn't have black linens for my black pants...
