If you want great pizza with a family atmosphere then this is the place to be.. also they are remodeling and it looks great, they kept the classic style of a New Haven Pizzeria and touched it all up, make sure you tell your kids about the picture on the wall of Grandpa and Grandma Zupardi, if they hadnt started this place i would have to take my family to Pepe's... where there one HUGE difference, at Zups the entire family still works there, at any given time 90 % of the people working there are family, or have been accepted as an honorary family member. Compare this to (the great?) Pepe's, where they sold the place and have been opening up other stores faster than a Starbucks, and take a look at who's making your pizzas, nope its not family, wow its not even Americans, its ALL mexicans!! now i know they work for cheap but is Mexico really known for there pizza..?? Zup's is happy with there location and don't seem to wanna sell anytime soon, they wanna make good pizza for there community. If you ask me there doing a damn good job about it. The only downside to this place is the service. they have women that are probably aunts or cousins of the family so I can get that, but they sure arent looking to make your experience a memorable one. although they do have a guy who waits tables sometimes and he was fantastic, but I haven't had him since... For all my pros there had to be a con, as long as the beer is cold and the pizza stays the same, but maybe just maybe, retire the waitresses and drop some applications at H00TER'S, they'll give better service, and if they dont, they customers wont care!!
Pros: PIZZA, PIZZA, PIZZA, and talking to Cheryl
Cons: the waitresses!!!!
