Like anyone else, I am concerned about what doctors my family sees and take an interest in their background, bedside manner, board complaints, charges, availability, etc. As doctors are human, even the best ones make mistakes or dont deal with certain patients in ways those patients believe they should be dealt with. This shows with most doctors receiving both positive and negative reviews. My wife and I started seeing one OB/GYN when we were having our first son - and we dropped her fast because of what we perceived to be extremely questionable and sensitive ethical/moral matters (abortion). Others may not have seen such an issue in the same light. We then chose Dr. Lewis and 2 sons later, have been quite satisfied with the services she has provided. Occasionally I or my wife would have to deal with billing issues or questioned bedside manner in that yes, she doesnt call you by name. In the delivery room - Lewis is a COACH! but gets the job done. How much plastic surgery/botox she has had shouldnt bear on a fair review of her qualifications as a physician and I think shows a lack of maturity in other patients. She probably sees how fat and nasty some women are who have decided to bear children and would love to say something to them about their appearance - I dont know. It doesnt matter. The bottom line is this - as long as the doctor is not trying to defraud me or diagnose me when he is drunk or utilize imprudent treatments, I think they will get the job done. I have seen dozens of different docs and some of them are cold as ice, but they got the job done. End of story. Pros: She cares about her practice and is prudent in treatment Cons: Nothing that I have seen out of the ordinary with a business; Standard delay in keeping appt times more
