First off I would like to say finding a truly helpful employee here is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Don't expect to receive any helpful information when browsing for new instruments. You should only go if you already know a lot about the various types of brands and differences in the instruments. Everytime I go in i have to hunt down employees to make my purchases; and on the unfortunate occassions on which i had to ask a question about an item all i receive are incoherent answers or snotty attitude from the sales rep. most if not all employees here are white. Except one or two in the drum section. So my experience may differ from some of the other readers. On one occasion I went in to purchase a new drumset, I had my eye on a black on black pearl 5 pc forum set. It was nice. The sales rep refused to make eye contact with me when I was checking out the set so I approached him, and he acted like he couldnt hear me and went on instead to assist a white man with his son. ( i am hispanic) I said ""Hey, whatsup I was talking to you"" he blatanly ignored me. So i said screw this place im taking my money somewhere else. I was so p-o'd I didn't even want to talk to the manager. I had $1000 cash in my pocket but the rep looked at me then at the white family and decided thats where the $ money was. Or maybe he just did'nt want to help a mexican. Who knows? all I know is I got a way better deal by just buying it online. Now I only go if I have to pick something up asap, but it's like get in and get out, as quick as possible.
Pros: great selection of equipment, pretty good prices
Cons: customer service, lack of knowledge on items
