Caribbean food seems to be hard to find in the Austin area, so I was eager to give this restaurant a try. We weren't sure where we were supposed to park. It's not well designated, so we parked in the lot next door. It was very clean and pleasant inside. The menu had a good assortment of choices. We ordered Mexican martinis (OK, nothing extra special),shrimp appetizer (fantastic), flank steak, and tres leches cake. The steak had a wonderful marinade on it, was cooked exactly as I requested and was quite tasty. The fried plantains were excellent! The food we had was defintely NOT SPICY, which pleased my husband especially. Our server was attentive and pleasant, but not pesty. The Tres Leches was the best I've ever had... I'm planning on ordering one for our Christmas party. Definitely a ""thumbs up"" for something out of the ordinary.
