We went this weekend and had the BEST experience. Beatrice at the front, made us feel right at home the moment we walked in. The bar was crowded but we got serviced quickly. I do recommend the mango mojito. although my boyfriend had the mambo king and LOVED it! I was rather surprised at how friendly everyone was-I had always heard of Asia de Cuba and Skybar and had figured it would be a typical pretentious LA scene, but I have to say we were surprised at the excellant service- The scallops were incredible, we liked the buttterfish, LOVED the short ribs and will be back for the lobster mashed potatoes! Cudos to the chef! The only downside was waiting for valet parking, I believe we were competing with SKybar guests and it was a hastle....but worth it~
Pros: friendly excellant service, great view and people watcing
