Signed a contract after being told the first thirty days were free. Cancelled the contract within thirty days, and was initially told no problem. Gold's Gym continued to charge my account for a year, and when contacted stated contract had to be cancelled within seven days. After pointing out the $50 escape clause, Gold's Gym stapped communication entirely. Neverthless, still attempted to collect on over $1000, almost twice the original amount of the contract despite being informed by an attorney that it was illegal. These guys should be avoided at any and all costs.
