Beware of Poor Richards policy of not allowing diners to share their food without paying an extra share $$fee. My wife and I often share and never before run into this situation before, she is a light eater and often will order a side dish. She usually will take a few bites out of my plate. But at Poor Richards, we were told that this was forbidden and that they would have to charge a sharing fee. We told the waitress that this was ridiculous, but she said that it was their policy. This conversation reminded me of chicken salad sandwich diner scene from the movie ?Five Easy Pieces?. We decided it was not worth arguing about and left, went down the street to Denny?s and had breakfast the way we wanted it w/o food police standing watch. Note: We have eaten breakfast at Poor Richards before and their food is par with Denny?s and IHOP, but I did like their home fries. But after this experience, we will never visit them again!
Pros: Home Fries
Cons: Cannot share food
