We have visited Shinjuku at least 6 times since they opened. The quality of the food has consistently been pretty good, although pricier than similar Hibachi-style restaurants in the Denver area. In addition, the service in the past was normally average, although it typically seemed like they were trying to rush people in and out . Our most recent visit, however, was horrible, and if you want good customer service, avoid Shinjuku. They failed to honor a valid coupon, and then on top of that added on a 20% tip to our bill, when there is no such policy listed on their menu or signage. The assistant manager (who was also our waitperson) was unwilling to make any concessions, although she did finally remove the automatic 20% tip that was added on. The customer is supposed to be right, but in the case of Shinjuku, the customer was treated unfairly and they didn't seem to care if they lost a repeat customer or not. The food is above average for this type of restaurant, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
Pros: Food Quality
Cons: Customer Service, Management
