We stayed at the Carlsbad Inn last summer when we went to LegoLand for our son's 5th birthday - it was such a nice place for a family to stay! We rented a condo for the weekend and could not have been more delighted with the service and surroundings. We walked to the beach, wandered around Carlsbad Village, and ate at the Mexican Restaurant on the property, which was fantastic! The pool was clean and warm, but we spent more time on the beach :) I definitely recommend this place for families traveling to the San Diego area.
