I highly recommend Ambassador of India, for having been there myself quite regularly. What sets it apart from the other Indian restaurants I've eaten at in the New England area are the distinct taste, cleanliness and customer service. The Kerela Pepper Chicken, Lamb Curry, Smoked Salmon, Hara Bhara Kebab at Ambassador are my personal favourites and one of the best Ive eaten on the East coast. The buffet was also excellent , with a good and balanced variety of non vegetarian and vegetarian items. The pakodas and the tandoori chicken was excellent. Oh yes and my Mom whos a vegetarian is a great fan of their Daal Tadkaa and Gaajar Halwaa
The service was very good too and the ambience is just perfect!! The prices are reasonable and worth every cent for having treated my taste buds lavishly!!
Most importantly every time I have been there, the owner himself is present personally and that adds a personal touch to the environment. We were greeted at our table and asked how the food was. Our feedback as well as suggestions were appreciated and implemented..now this is something I have not seen often in Indian restaurants here. Over all I Iike Ambassador because the taste is authentically Indian (and not a hack) and its as good as eating in India!! I give this one a 10 on 10 for not only serving great food but for doing so consistently for many years now!!
Pros: Authentic India taste, Service, Cleanliness
