I usually never write reviews but this time, I just have to. I've been going to Elan since the day they opened in Canton. Most of my experiences have been unpleasant. There was always something wrong with booking appointment or the waiting time. I once had to wait more than 1 hour between services.
I had an appointment for a facial on a Saturday morning. The esthetician led me to the facial room, told me that she drank too much the night before and not to be offended if she needed to run out of the room at some point because she wasn?t feeling well. She then walked out to get a glass of water. I could hear her being sick in the bathroom next door... After 20 minutes, she finally came back as I was on my way out to reschedule my appointment with someone else for Sunday morning. The next day, the receptionist called me to cancel my appointment because the other esthetician called in sick.
I?m very disappointed to say that this was my last visit at Elan Day Spa in Canton! I am extremely unsatisfied with the service Elan has offered me and will not be going back and will not be referring anyone either. You offer a service to your clients, the least your company can do is hire employees who not only have the experience but the tact that comes with offering spa services. Frankly, I did not need to know the esthetician had too much to drink the night before my appointment. That is not my problem nor should I, as a paying customer, have to deal with what I believe was her lack of tact and responsibility.
