I took my husband to Dr. Lide yesterday as a new patient and Dr. Lide was not very personable. He seemed a bit annoyed to have another patient there, wouldn't take time to answer questions, and was extremely rude to his staff. \r

I heard that Dr. Lide was friendly but the way he dealt with people while I was there proved otherwise. His new hygenist was very nice, friendly, and professional. We felt so at ease with her. It was a big dissappointment then when she asked Dr. Lide to look at an X-ray and he told her sharply to ""do your job"" and walked away!\r

When he finally came into the room and met my husband, he had a crude way of explaining treatment options and my husband left feeling like he didn't trust the man to do the work. My husband even lost sleep worrying about treatment hours after he got out of the office! It was rediculous. He even made a point of telling us several times that if we had a question, we should ask his STAFF. Why couldn't he at least take a minute to answer some questions?!\r

I would say that Dr. Lide is a bit arrogant and self-indulgent. After the way he talked to his staff (twice that I've seen), I wouldn't want to give him any more business. It's really aweful. I can't imagine what goes on when we are not looking.\r

Pros: Nice staff.
Cons: Left feeling uneasy.
